INSOL visit to DOST

INSOL Development Foundation Inc, visit to the Department of Science and Technology on the 6th of April, 2010 was indeed successful, spearheaded between Mr. Gavin Bunker, the president of INSOL and Dr. Nuna Almazor, the director of ITDI.

DOST as one leading agency of the government that harness the country’s scientific and technological capabilities will give an opportunity to our members who want to introduce technology for better production.

Dr. Almansor pointed out that DOST could possibly extend helps in term of technical and financial. She said that anyone of our member could ask help in DOST provided they will submit a project/business proposal as to pass to the standard requirements which will prove of their needs of technical and financial support.

The important of solid waste management was also mention in the discussion, and how would this be learned by the members. They have also discussed different program that would bring impact among members engage in farming and fishing.

Finally a discussion to make an agreement of partnership between the two companies to continue call on to foster the micro-enterprise using the new approach and scientific.
